The Goulburn Steel 9010 Carp hook is our favourite hook for big unweighted wet flies in the shallows. It’s got enough space in the 1x long shank to dress the fly as you like, and the 1X strong wire means it’s tough, without being a sinking ship. This is intended for delicate presentations at close range, with enough muscle to finish the job after the hook up.
